A Few of my Favorite Things: Fall Edition

This tastes just like fall in a cup. Its so yummy, if you haven't tried it you are missing out, my friend!

I went to the state fair for the first time ever last year and had a blast! I look forward to going again this year.

My first post!

I finally gave in and started a blog!

I have been following friends and random bloggers for awhile now and have not started a blog yet for two reasons. 1.) I am a TERRIBLE writer, especially when it comes to journaling. I look back on my old diaries and cringe! So maybe my personal writing will improve through this? I hope! 2.) I'm computer illiterate. So if anyone wants to help a sista out with layout, tips and tricks to this thing, I would very much appreciate it!

SUMMER RECAP

As I reflect back on this summer, I think that it has probably been the best one yet. I knew that this is very possibly the last summer I had before I become a "real adult" and have responsibilities and work, so I wanted to make the best of it!

To kick off the summer, I went with my sister and some of our precious friends to Alabama for the wedding of two friends from the campus ministry we are all involved in.

(This picture cracks me up because my sister and I are about a foot shorter than everyone else!)

My good friends Alex, Kelsey and I for some crazy reason decided to train for Free Wheel, which is a bicycle ride across Oklahoma. The whole thing lasts a week, but we just went for one day (55 miles!!) Alex's dad who is a seasoned Free Wheeler came with us and he and I rode on his tandem.

A sweet, long time friend of mine competed in the Miss Oklahoma competition in June, and I had the honor of not only going to watch her two different nights, but also going to a red carpet event before the competition. She is so beautiful, inside and out and did an amazing job!

I visited my sweet, wonderful boyfriend at the end of June and he took me to my first real rodeo! He just started medical school hundreds of miles away and I miss him already but I am very proud of him for working so hard and following his dreams!

Lastly, my BFF (of 17 years, NBD) and I went to Italy for a month to study abroad! This requires a whole new post soon to come, but here's a sneak peak :)
